What was the highlight of Artview Hotel

Overall a fair value for your money.

The hotel was just a brief walk to the subway/bus station, and there were lots of places to eat nearby. The hotel staff were helpful and polite. The entryway and hallway were well maintained.

The size of the room felt cramped, and there was mold starting to grow in the bathroom/shower area. The bed was adequate in size, but very stiff and uncomfortable. There were springs poking my back all night. The walls were paper thin; I could hear people walking up the main stairs (our room was at the other end of the hallway), as well as every single noise outside. When checking in, I was asked to show my passport, which I was not warned of beforehand.

its near with chungmuro station exit 6. only 5mins walk from the station. there’s lot of restaurants nearby. emart is also only 1 minute from the hotel

1. there’s no lift. if you have lots of luggage, you have to take care of your own luggage when check in our check out. 2. the room is really small. you barely have space to walk or open your luggage. so i don’t reccomend it for people who have lots of luggage 3. the bed is so uncomfortable, its sticking out! please check room number 303. they have lots of broken parts 4. there’s no storage for luggage. because i have 3 big luggage, i asked them to put my luggage downstairs if they have any storage. turns out they have none. so to make it easier, i have to put my luggage in front of my room 5. the staff is so rude. they don’t greet us properly. there’s a staff with tattoo is also giving people sideeye. i don’t understand why they working in hotel (service) if they don’t train them properly. because i have lots of luggage (again) when checking out and waiting for taxi, it kinda blocking the door (mind the small space they have). they don’t even bother to ask. just pushing my luggage away. its my 9th time going back to korea and trying out different hotel, but honestly, its one of my worst experience in a hotel

The staff was helpful even in the middle of the night when we needed help. The location is near to the subway and bus station and so many convenience store nearby.

The bathroom was all the time cold. We have to wait for like 5 minutes to have hot water. The matrice was cranky and in a bad shape and also there wasn’t much room for two personnes.

-The room has a homey feel, and since we’re the only room on our floor, it was quiet. -The room is clean and has everything you need (towels, slippers, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, toilet paper, hangers, mini ref, bottled water, tv, wifi, warm blankets). It is also being cleaned everyday.

-There’s no elevator, but that’s understandable for a small guesthouse -There’s only few options for the breakfast and it’s the same everyday (bread, butter, jam, eggs). Hope they can add more options. -The bed is a bit springy and the room’s heater is controlled by the staff. It was a bit chilly one night and we can’t do anything about it.

All was good other than the minor shortfall

The hotel managed to get a bigger size room (10'x10') which fits all purpose after my complaint. Coffee & Tea available throughout the day as well as hot water to cook your cup Noodles.

The hotel acted on my complaints immediately. I was given a very small (6'x10') room with the wall running diagonally. As I had no space to open my luggage and do my prayers, I request for change of room.

The location and cleanliness is good.

The location and cleanliness is good. The staff is accommodating also especially when we need help.

the breakfast was being served a bit late (9am to 10:30am). And it would be better if there's an elevator going up to the 4th flr. It's a bit hassle especially if you have big luggages.

What was the highlight of Artview Hotel

If you are a traveler who doesn't bring a luggage or a backpacker perhaps, this place is for you.

I like that it was close to the subway station, airport bus stop and Myeongdong. There are also plenty of restaurants surrounding the hostel so it's convenient if you are hungry.

The signage is too small. We circled around the area before we got to see the small signage. There's no elevator. My friend and I struggled bringing up our luggages to check in and bringing it down to check out.

Really helpful staff and guests can call them if they are not in the office, and the staff's phone number are always on the door of the office. Great value and the room is very clean and spacious. Tip: ask for a heater if you are cold. The heater will make the room really warm and cozy in the winter.

Decent location with average facility

Love the location, it's just a 3 minute walk from Chungmuro station & it's also a 10 minute walk to reach Myeongdong shopping area.

The water heater took a while to heat up. Also, i felt that the bed wasn't that comfortable as I could really feel the spring of the matress.
